Escape
Here is a dance video I did this semester in my Video Production I class.
In dance gestures, movement, expression, and emotion are key in making up an universal language of body and dance. With my interest in dance and music video language I wanted to explore the art of story telling through dance in the performer as well as in dance by the video artist. When I say dance by the video artist, I am referring to the motion of the camera in response to the dancer as well as the editing in post production to create an emotional response, along with the dancer, for the viewer to experience.
The music tracks are not my own. I pieced together Mt Eden – Escape and a sample of Farhan Khan- The End, which can be found on Youtube.
